Organic Topdressing
Applying compost to your lawn feeds micro-organisms and increases organic matter content (OM). By doing this we are able to increase the water holding capacity and drought tolerance, while suppressing potential fungus and disease problems. Applying a layer of 100% plant based compost is good for any lawn or garden but is highly recommended for poor, sandy, or depleted soils. The best time to topdress your lawn is in the fall just after aeration.

This rich top dressing has been processed through a 1/2 inch screen and will settle nicely into your grass. The fine powdery compost particles will deliver a nice, natural nitrogen/nutrient punch.
Not only can you add this organic rich material to your lawn to improve its health but you can also add it to new and existing planting beds.
